AFRICAN
FABRICS
Oshogbo textiles are hand-woven in western Nigeria by the
Yoruba people.
It is difficult to see on these photos but the detailed
work is immense. The blue fabric has hand-stitched geometric designs
embroidered onto it with a purple cotton. There is also silver thread running
throughout. The orange textile has green designs sewn onto it with a gold
thread detail. (The actual color is more like the close up photo.)
