About Us
African sculptures are used during tribal ceremonies,
magical and social rites, and festivals.
Before the making of many artifacts, there is a long controlled process
including collaboration between the ‘commissioner,’ the village diviner
and the sculptor. To Africans these objects are
necessary for the successful performance of rituals; to the western world they are works of
art.
